Constructive Triangle Boxes

Age

3-6

Materials

Five boxes containing the following:
Box 1: Triangular Box
Box 2: Large Hexagonal Box
Box 3: Small Hexagonal Box
Box 4: Rectangular Box
Box 5: Rectangular Box

Preparation

This is an individual exercise, which is done on a floor mat on the floor. (Note: work cycle to be observed).

Presentation

  1. The Directress shows the child how to take any one of the box individually to the floor mat. she sits beside the child and places the box of shapes in front of the child. Directress shows how to lay out all the contents on the mat.
