    <li>Show the child how to undo the Velcro. For the first kind of Velcro, the pull-up type. Starting from the top, place the right hand on the right side of the flap near the Velcro attachment. Pull up the left side flap with the thumb and index finger of the left hand holding the edges of the left side flap. Repeat for the next Velcro attachment.</li>
 
    <li>Fold back the two flaps so as to clearly demonstrate to the child that the function of the Velcro's is to hold two pieces of cloth together.</li>
 
    <li>Directress then shows how to undo the second type of Velcro. Place the left hand on the left side of the flap near the Velcro attachment.
