Preparation

This is an individual presentation.

Presentation

  1. Directress shows the child how to carry the materials on a tray and shows the child how to use a turkey baster.
  2. Directress shows the child how to hold the pipette by grasping the rubber top with the thumb and index finger, press both the fingers together, holding it and placing it into the bowl till the glass tip touches the bottom of the bowl.
  3. Release gently and you will find water being soaked up the pipette.
  4. Then transfer it to the other bowl by placing it just over the bowl, and gently press the rubber top to let the water come out into the bowl.
  5. Repeat the exercise by transferring all the water from left to right-hand and then back from right to left-hand side of the bowl.
