- A piece of paper.
- Small colored papers cut into various shapes.
- A bottle of gum with the paste applicator.
- A wet towel.
Preparation
This is an individual presentation.
Presentation
- Directress takes a piece of paper, writes down the child's name and date on the piece of paper, reading aloud what she is writing.
- Directress introduces the gum, ' This is a gum tub' and 'This is the gum stick'.
- Directress takes the gum stick, shows the child how much glue to take and then apply it on the piece of shaped paper.
- Smoothen the gum on the back of the shaped paper until is covered with gum.
- Then paste the shaped paper onto the piece of paper.
- Smoothen it.
- Allow the child to try.
- When the exercise is completed, let the piece of work dry in the drying area.
- Show the child how to clean the gum stick by wiping it with the wet towel, close the gum tub and place the applicator in its place.
- When exercise is completed, Directress shows the child how to take and place the materials back to the shelf.
